Should we just plan a whole hooping convention for next year. Then we can have hoopers from all over the world helping to beat the record. Im willing to go all in for a convention if other pdx hoopers are down. Next year world hoop day is on a saturday which will make it a perfect time for a 3 day convention. ?

We're working on buying a domain and forming a committee. It's going to be no small deal. We have you on the email list when we form some sort of organization (hopefully really soon) we'll email everybody on the list and they can choose to get as involved as they want.
We need more people like you. So anybody you know may be interested you can forward the emails to perhaps. And so on and so on.
F-Yes though. I love the 3 day convention idea. Good thing we're starting to work on this now.

I bet a lot of totally rad hoopers will be hosting local events in their home town, so we should ask now before some make plans. =) BUT BUT BUT if we really wanted to attempt the world recond, we should have started the Guinness Paper work forever ago...I'm down to start it again, its gunna cost some money....
any ideas for sponsors??? -

We should try and schedule meetings to get together and discuss what needs to be done and prioritize them.

Even if we don't do the world record thing for this year it would be a good opportunity to network and get TONS of people involved to remember the following years event. I'm still down to try for a convention style hoop event. At least a more organized large scale all day thing with vendors and live music and whatnots. Whatchya ladies think? -

Those would both work for me, and I would love to meet at a chill coffee shop somewheres, maybe the chaos cafe on SE Powells? Or Im up for suggested other spots too. -

Well Haven wants to be a part of the meetings and she doesn't get off work until 6pm, she will be riding the bus, so she requested wherever we go could it be on/off a large bus line...same with Kristen I assume? She'd either be riding her bike or bussin it?
Also, the location should be rather fair for all involved... or at least those without their own transportation....?

I am trying to move back to the eastside asap, if you know of any cool places available?? Lets meet at a coffee shop. Ive heard Chaos cafe on SE powel is pretty cool. Thats right on the busline #9 Does that sound good?
Or if anyone else knows any other cool coffee shops with space for our meeting Im down for meeting somewheres else too. -
